the farm, but still Southern Living! We were listed as one of the best "FarmStays" in NC.
We offer a choice of three cabins and a farm experience with friendly farm animals, a creek, hot
tubs, fire pits and hiking trails for those wanting to explore our 260 acres. We also offer seclusion
and privacy for those wanting a peaceful honeymoon escape with beautiful high mountain views.

Located 30 miles northwest of Asheville, North Carolina, near the
Appalachian Trail town of Hot Springs, in the heart of the southern
Appalachian Mountains, Briar Rose Farm is an old mountain farm
with rolling hills, steep slopes, and green pastures divided by a
creek that comes tumbling down the mountain.
A true farm experience is what we offer to our guests.
You will enjoy our cool evenings, sunny days, blue skies, and the
choice of adventures just outside your cabin door.. Or maybe you
will come to just soak up the peaceful quiet of this rural setting.
The farm a good place to be as active or as lazy as you wish.
A trip to Briar Rose Farm provides far more than just a place to sleep!
Winter is special here at Briar Rose. The cool days and cold nights invigorate your soul. The gardens
have been put to bed. You can see forever without the trees obstructing your view. Snow cover is
especially beautiful and often the mountain peaks are especially beautiful rime ice coating each branch
and twig. It is like a fairy land when the sun hits it! Wood smoke mingles in the air.
Hiking is great during the day as it often hits 40 or so, even if we have snow during the night. Sledding
at Max Patch, snow tubing or skiing at either Cattaloochi or Wolf Laurel are popular things to do. A trip
to Asheville or Hot springs is an adventure. And so is coming back to your cozy cabin with a fire
blazing. The hot Tub steaming out on the deck, and a good book waiting.
Nightly or weekly, our cabins offer the opportunity to enjoy the numerous outdoor activities in the area or
just stay "home" by the fireplace or in the hot tub under the stars. It is a great place for families with kids,
couples, and honeymooners. Enjoy a campfire by the creek, hike right from your cabin door, visit with
our cows, goats, collect eggs from the chickens and listen to our roosters welcoming the morning sun as
it lights up your front porch. What a perfect way to begin your days in the mountains!
Our Cabins
Briar Rose Farm offers three unique cabins for your enjoyment:. Please choose the one that fits your
desire:
- Farm Cabin, our family cabin sleeps 5 and located on the main farm near the animals and
creek , larges porches, deck, hot tub, pond, and firepit for hotdogs and s'mores - Sweet Briar Log Cabin, up the farm road 1/2 mile on it's own 89 acre farm, privacy, pasture
and mountain views, long porch, deck, hot tub, porch swing, double hammock, firepit, sleeps 2
or 3 - Knob Log Cabin, high mountain views, completely private, a cozy log cabin for 2 or 3 with hot
tub overlooking a breathtaking view, porch swing, and firepit for an evening campfire
Each of our cabins offers: a cozy unique cabin, a hot tub, large porch with a gas grill and deck furniture,
open decks, porch swings and/or hammocks, full kitchens and baths, cozy bedrooms, and access to our
friendly farm animals.
We invite you to wander our gardens, pick from our summer produce (in season, of course), see how we
grow hydroponic colorful lettuce, hike to the firetower located at the top of our mountain, splash in the
creek, and end your day by the light of a welcoming campfire and a dip in the hot tub.
We are happy to offer personalized gift certificates for a special gift They make great wedding gifts,
awards for events, just a nice way to help a special couple get a way, or a way to promise your hard
