Live close to the center of Asheville and still enjoy the unique atmosphere of this wooded mountain community located in the trees  minutes above this special city and all that it offers.  Walk to town for an evening meal or use it as a hub to enjoy the surrounding mountain environment.

# One Delano Road is a tastefully furnished unit located in a duplex on Beaucatcher mountain.  Two bedrooms are available, one with a queen size bed, the second with a regular size bed and half bath.  A full kitchen with all appliances awaits you while just steps beyond the laundry area, equipped with a new washer and dryer, is the large 10' X 20' furnished deck.  Experience the early morning sunshine or the cool mountain evenings from this perch in the tree tops.  A Gas Grill invites you to cook at home before heading out to the evenings entertainment just blocks from your doorstep.  The living room offers a TV with cable service and a VCR.  

This is your ideal location for a weekend or a weeks worth of exploring all that Asheville and the surrounding mountains have to offer.  Music, shopping, dining, heritage and ethnic crafts, urban hiking and biking as well as enjoying the mountain trails, rafting, and small town exploration that awaits just beyond the city limits. Rates and Arrangements

Reservations are made by contacting Briar Rose Farm.  Again, because we live and work on the farm, we are often away from the phone.  Cell phones don't work here as the mountain present obstacles and there are no cells!  The best times to call would be early mornings, noon, or most evenings. We do check our email often and that is probably the best way to contact us initially. We are happy to answer your questions and like you, do not want to wait or be surprised when it comes to where we make plans to stay.

We do have a two night minimum with a three night minimum on the holidays of NewYears, Valentine's Weekend, Easter, Memorial Day, the 4th of July,  Labor Day,  Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

This cabin offers complete privacy with no other buildings, utility wires, roads, or other distractions visible from the large decks and porch areas on the backside.

 

 

 

 

 

The view from the spacious deck is all mountains.
 Facing Southeast for the best early morning sunshine,
it is great place to share your morning coffee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The interior is calm and cozy. 

The living area has a fireplace, eating area, and glider rocker with good lighting for reading.

The LCD TV has only the reception you bring, DVD's
or CD's of your choosing.

 

 

 

 

Looking toward the kitchen,

you can see the exposed beams of the log cabin.

The comfy sofa  is a hide-a-bed should you choose to share your get-a-way with another adult or small children.

 

 

 

 

 


The full kitchen has everything you need. 

Complete with complimentary coffee and teas, blender, toaster,  pots, pans, appliances, dishes, utensils,
and gas grill on the deck.
Its all there to prepare a great meal.

Here in the mountains, we live on our porches and decks a good bit of the three seasons. 
You've plenty of room to enjoy from early morning till night.
(The swing even makes into a bed, should you not be able to tear yourself away from the outside views!)
