Activities at the Farm
Briar Rose Farm is located in a rural area approximately 45 minutes northwest of Asheville and 25 minutes
south of Hot Springs, North Carolina.

On the farm there is a creek, a sawmill, farm animals, seasonal berries to pick, trails to hike, numerous
photo opportunities, a green house growing hydroponic lettuce, gardens to wander, and a vegetable
garden for the use of our guests. This is a working farm and we want it to serve as one of the highlights of
your visit!

Our road also leads to a fire tower. To reach the tower, travelers trek two miles along Tug Fork Creek as it
tumbles down the mountain. Friezeland Creek also borders the farm and is stocked with rainbow trout for
those with a valid North Carolina fishing license. Spring Creek is another trout stream that is within two miles
of the farm.

The  links to the right will take you to activities that are off the farm but either local (within 20 miles) or a
